Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematical thinking skills and problem solving through interactive learning strategies. This study uses a literature review with a class action approach by taking several references related to the title. Learning is carried out in two cycles by applying interactive learning strategies, namely group discussions, problem solving in groups, and project-based learning. The instrument used to collect data is a literature review type of literature research. The results showed that interactive learning strategies were effective in improving students' mathematical thinking skills and problem solving. This can be seen from the increase in test scores in each learning cycle and the increase in student participation in discussion and problem solving. In addition, students also showed improved attitudes toward learning mathematics, including interest, motivation, and self-confidence. This research provides practical implications for teachers in designing interactive and interesting mathematics learning strategies to improve students' thinking and problem solving skills. In addition, this research also makes a theoretical contribution in the development of a mathematics learning model that focuses on mathematical thinking skills and problem solving.
