Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using Quizizz paper-mode on the learning outcomes of 8th-grade students in mathematics at SMP Negeri 2 Wiradesa when compared to the school's multiple-choice written assessments. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research method with the object of research being the 8th-grade students of class B at SMP Negeri 2 Wiradesa. A difference test was conducted to measure the difference in the level of effectiveness between using Quizizz paper-mode and the multiple-choice written assessments based on their learning outcomes criteria. Based on the t-test results from the data analysis, the value of sig < 0.05 (0.00) indicates that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that using Quizizz paper-mode assessment is more effective in improving the learning outcomes of mathematics among 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Wiradesa.
