Dampak Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan Pendekatan Stem terhadap Motivasi dan Prestasi Siswa

The guided inquiry learning model is a learning model that helps students learn and gain knowledge by discovering for themselves what they are learning. The STEM approach applies a variety of information in seeking knowledge, so the approach is suitable when collaborated with the guided inquiry learning model. The involvement of various aspects of learning is considered capable of helping students increase their motivation and achievement, especially in mathematics. This study aims to determine the impact of the guided inquiry learning model with the STEM approach on student motivation and achievement. The research was conducted using the literature study method. This study examines various articles, journals, books, and other sources related to the application of the guided inquiry learning model with the STEM approach to student motivation and achievement. The results of the literature review show that the guided inquiry learning model with the STEM approach has a positive impact on student motivation and achievement. The positive impact on student motivation is shown by students being encouraged to take initiative in solving problems until they find answers, so as to foster passion and enthusiasm for learning. The positive impact on the cognitive aspect is marked by the addition of students' insight and knowledge, so that it also has an impact on learning achievement. The positive impact on the affective aspect is marked by students being able to bring out character traits with observable behavioral traits, namely gratitude, honesty, responsibility, and discipline, and successfully attracting student learning attitudes so that students achieve active learning abilities for lifelong learning and knowledge connections. The positive impact on the psychomotor aspect is marked by increasing students' creative thinking abilities.
