The problem in this research is whether there is an effect of matching learning model on number recognition ability of 5-6 year old children in Al Noor Islamic Kindergarten in Goa State. This research aims to determine the effect of the matching learning model on the number recognition ability of 5-6 year old children in Al Noor Islamic Kindergarten in Goa state. This type of research is an experimental research in the style of a pretest experimental design that uses a single group design for pretest and posttest that consists of pretest, treatment, and posttest. The participants in this research were 16 children aged 5-6 years. The results of the research showed that the average score in the pre-test was 7.12, and in the post-test it was 9. Then it was also supported by the results of the calculations using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test in the SPSS Asymp Sig (2-) program. tail) a value of 0.000 is obtained Here we get probability less than 0.05 or p < 0.05, which means H0 is rejected. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Make A Match learning model on the ability to recognize numbers among children aged 5-6 years in Al Noor Islamic Kindergarten in Goa State.
