Abstract

Children's ability to speak in front of the class (in public) still needs to be maximally stimulated so that children become more confident in appearing in public. Technology has become an unavoidable part of the industrial revolution. Education requires the help of technology to facilitate learning activities. Watching videos is seen as an effective medium for stimulating children's speaking skills, especially in public. Apart from making children happy and comfortable, watching videos also accommodates early childhood learning by learning while playing. This research was conducted with the aim of determining the improvement in speaking skills of KB Cempoko Legokclile Bojong children after watching the video. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection used observation, interview and document review techniques. The results of this study show that watching videos can develop early childhood speaking skills. By watching videos, children become more critical and ask the teacher about what they don't know so they can develop speaking skills.
