Abstract

Language acquisition is the process by which humans capture, produce, and use words for understanding and communicating them to others. This understanding involves abilities such as syntax, phonetics, exploring a wide vocabulary. This research aims to examine the implementation of singing activities for language acquisition in children aged 5-7 years. The method in this research uses qualitative research methods with naturalistic observation techniques. The data source in this research is class B students at RAM NU Sapugarut, Buaran, Pekalongan. The results of the research explain that the singing method in increasing language acquisition is very effective, so that children can acquire new vocabulary in singing activities carried out before teaching and learning activities begin. Singing activities are carried out using speaker media. Children can follow the lyrics of the song in the singing activity. By utilizing singing as an effective educational tool, we can strengthen children's language foundations and provide them with a strong foundation for future learning and interactions. Thus, singing is not only a fun activity, but also a valuable investment in children's holistic development.
