Abstract

Social skills are an important aspect in children's development that can influence their interactions in the surrounding environment. This research is motivated by the low ability of children in social skills. Such as socializing, interacting and collaborating with friends. This is because the teacher's ability to use interactive learning is still less than optimal and is lacking in providing stimulus and encouragement to students to carry out social activities with friends. Implementing interactive learning is one way to improve social development, children interact more, work together, help each other and are more effective in interacting according to the child's abilities. The aim of this research is to determine the interactive learning process at Nurul Ulum Sragi Kindergarten, Pekalongan Regency and to determine the results of improving children's social skills at Nurul Ulum Sragi Kindergarten, Pekalongan Regency. The research method used is qualitative field research with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The first step used at the Nurul Ulum Sragi Kindergarten, Pekalongan Regency, was to create a fun class, interesting learning media, and invite children to discuss. By using interactive learning, children get used to interacting with friends and teachers and build children's empathy for other people.
