Abstract

Religious moderation is a view, attitude, and behavior that always takes from the very middle position, always being fair, and not extreme or inclined in a particular religion. The application of moderation for early childhood is very important in teaching balance and control. This can include setting play times, consuming food and drinks, and using technology. This can help them learn about boundaries and responsibilities early on. Moderation is important for early childhood because it helps them develop self-control skills and build healthy habits early on. With moderation, they also learn to recognize their own needs and wants, which is an important skill for later life. Too much or too little in terms of activity, food, or use of technology can have a negative impact on their development. This study aims to analyze the impact of religious moderation education on the social-emotional development of early childhood in Bali. Religious moderation education is an approach that emphasizes balance and tolerance between religions, which is expected to help children develop inclusive attitudes and respect differences. This study used quantitative methods with data collection through observation. The results showed that religious moderation education has a positive influence on children's social-emotional development, such as increased empathy, the ability to interact with peers, and better emotional management. These findings indicate that an educational approach that promotes moderation and tolerance can contribute significantly to shaping the character of children who are socially and emotionally balanced.
