Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini Berbasis Kearifan Budaya Lokal Lagu Cublak-Cublak Suweng

Abstract

The background of this research is the importance of integrating local cultural wisdom into early childhood education to strengthen their cultural identity and moral values. The song  "Cublak-Cublak  Suweng"  was  chosen  as  an  educational  medium  because  it  embodies important moral  values  that  are  understandable  to  children.  This  study  aims  to  explore  theeffectiveness  of  culture-based  learning  through  the  song  "Cublak-Cublak  Suweng"  in  early childhood  education.  The  research  method  used  is  qualitative.  Data  were  collected  through observations,  interviews,  and  analysis  of  relevant  literature.  The  results  show  that  the  song "Cublak-Cublak  Suweng"  is  effective  in  instilling  values  such  as  cooperation,  honesty,  and togetherness  in  children.  The  song  also  increases  children's  engagement  and  interest  in  learning activities. Additionally, the song helps children understand and appreciate their local culture, which is crucial for their cultural identity development. Regularly singing this song in educational settings and at home also strengthens children's social and emotional connections with their culture. This study  concludes  that  using  the  song  "Cublak-Cublak  Suweng"  as  a  medium  for  culture-based learning  is  an  effective  strategy  to  support  the  character  and  cultural  development  of  young children.  Integrating  this  song  into  the  early  childhood  education  curriculum  can  significantly contribute to the formation of children's character, moral values, and cultural understanding.
