Abstract

Food is important for humans. In everyday life, people must consume food that can meet their body's energy and nutritional needs. Therefore, we need to know and eat nutritious foods. At an early age, the body is in a period of growth and development so proper nutritional intake is needed. Therefore, it is hoped that providing additional food to school children can meet the nutritional needs of the child. This research aims to determine children's nutrition through the implementation of healthy eating patterns to improve early childhood nutrition at Manba'ul 'Ulum Kindergarten, Pekalongan City. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with the type of field research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this research are that nutrition for children at the Manba'ul 'Ulum Bendan Kindergarten, Pekalongan City has been fulfilled by providing additional food (PMT) with various menus provided by the school. For this reason, the process of providing additional food has gone well according to the specified procedures.
