Abstract

Abstract
The family environment is an important factor in the language acquisition process. Parenting patterns are a major part of the family environment that can have a direct impact on language acquisition in children. This study aims to describe language acquisition in three-year-old children and describe the sintia influence of parenting patterns on language acquisition in three-year-old children. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study were children aged three years. Data collection was carried out using the note-taking technique. Data analysis was done by interview and observation. The results showed that children, sintia aged three years with limited parenting style using gadgets and not limited playing time, language acquisition tended to be fluent and not hampered. Meanwhile, those who are not limited in the use of gadgets and limited in playing time, language acquisition tends to be hampered. Observation results with instruments interview research with mothers and children, so that in Get the first language and the current language used by children in everyday life. Researchers use three theories about children who have been observed, theory The first is behaviorism theory, the second theory is theory nativism, and the third theory is cognitive theory.
