The Role of The Lecturer in Installing Religious Moderation Attitude Among PG PAUD Students UHN Sugriwa Bali

Abstract

The role of the lecturer has a very limited influence on student changes, both in terms of understanding and behavior. Especially nowadays, there is a minimum of religious moderation among the colleges. This makes the role of the lecturer need to be more extra in improving the character of moderate among students of primary education Teachers of Early Childhood Education. Like at the Hindu State University, I was a good teacher, Sugriwa Denpasar, who has developed moderation in his high school. The aim of this research is to learn more about religious moderation at the State Hindu University I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar and how the role of the lecturer in instilling a moderate character towards students of PGPAUD major. The method used is the qualitative method. By type of research field research subject of research is academic lecturer and student PGPAUD at the State Hindu University I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation methods as well as data analysis techniques in this research include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study showed that lecturers played an active role in improving the character of religious moderation at Hindu State University I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar in particular in PGPAUD major students proved with the program they have, namely, the presence of Academic Activity which includes (Focus Group Discussion, seminars, conferences), and Networking program. Both programs have a very positive influence on students in instilling religious moderation.
