Abstract
Learning dance is a satisfying experience for children because it involves understanding movement, expression and a rich cultural context. At the Cendana Batubulan Dance Studio, Gianyar Regency, children's growth and development efforts to become creative through exploring the art of dance are optimally supported. This research aims to determine the exploration of Balinese dance in early childhood at the Cendana Batubulan dance studio, Gianyar Regency. This research also identifies how exploration of Balinese dance can influence various developments in early childhood. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through participatory observation, interviews with the management of the Batubulan Cendana dance studio, Gianyar Regency, as well as analysis of documentation related to the exploration of Balinese dance in early childhood. The results of this research show that the exploration of several Balinese dances is a welcoming dance. when there are guests it can improve children's physical, motoric, social cognitive and creative development. Managers who act as facilitators of Balinese dance exploration also play a key role in facilitating children's positive, creative learning experiences and also provide insight into Balinese dance as an effective learning tool for young children.
