Character education in early childhood plays an important role in shaping personality and strong moral values. Parents have an important role in contributing to instilling character education to children because parents are the first madrasah for children. The parenting style used by parents will also affect how children's character is formed. This research aims to observe how parenting patterns are applied and whether there are inhibiting factors in instilling character education in children in Sokoyoso Village. Through this research, it is hoped that deeper insights can be found into the strategies used by parents of factory workers in instilling character values in their children, as well as its practical implications in the development of effective character education programs in rural environments.This type of research uses a feled research approach (field research) and is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the methods used in data collection are: interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study are parents, namely mothers working as factory workers who have children aged 2-6 years. Parent participants are only represented by mothers because the mother's role is more in educating children at home. The results showed that there are 2 parenting patterns used in instilling character education in Sokoyoso Village, namely authoritarian parenting and permissive parenting, while the inhibiting factors in instilling character education in children are: internal factors consisting of (1) the child himself, (2) parents, and external factors consisting of (1) the number of busy parents, (2) how to educate, (3) the environment.
