Analisis Kemampuan Literasi Numerasi Siswa melalui Penyelesaian Soal AKM di Kelas XI SMK Gondang Wonopringgo

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia is still relatively low when viewed from the results of the TIMSS and PISA. To improve the quality of education, the Indonesian government issued a new policy in the world of education. One of the policies implemented was the abolition of the national exam and its replacement with a national assessment. In the National Assessment, there are two things that become national standards in the education sector, there are the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) and the Character Survey. AKM focuses on measuring students' thinking competence when reading text (literacy) and numeracy literacy (counting). Numerical literacy is needed by students in dealing with 21st-century skills and is closely related to solving everyday problems. Therefore, this study aims to determine and describe the numeracy literacy skills of class XI students in solving AKM questions at SMK Gondang for the academic year 2021/2022. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects consisted of 6 students from a total of 31 students in 2 classes XI AKL 1 and XI TKJ 1. The results showed that the numeracy literacy ability of students in the low category was 25.8%, in the medium category was 61.3%, and in the high category was 12.9%. So that the numeracy literacy ability of students is more dominant to the medium level of numeracy literacy ability of 61.3% and then a sample of 6 students is taken to conduct interviews with various levels of ability to strengthen the results of the study.
