Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase students' interest in learning mathematics with the peer tutor method. The subjects of this research were the 4th grade students of SD Bendan 04 Pekalongan City. The research method used is observation and interviews. The results of observations using the peer tutor method show that there is an increase in students' interest in learning mathematics, seen from the activeness of students in asking questions because students have a closer relationship with friends than with teachers and easily accept material taught to their peers. So it can be concluded that using learning tutor media can increase the activity, motivation, interest and learning outcomes of grade 4 SD Bendan 04 Pekalongan City.
