This study aims to explore ethnomathematics in the building of the Kajen Pekalongan Regency pavilion as an effort to facilitate the process of learning mathematics with a cultural approach. Using an ethnomathematics approach, this study tries to explore and understand the mathematical values contained in the form, structure, and design of the Kajen pavilion building. The type of research used is exploratory-descriptive with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the building of the Kajen pavilion has mathematical values contained in various aspects such as proportion, geometry, architecture, and ornaments. The ethnomathematics studied at the Kajen pavilion is mathematical concepts. Mathematical concepts that can be found include the concept of plane shapes, geometric shapes, arithmetic patterns, tangents to circles, symmetry, reflection, congruence and congruence.
