Abstract

Education has now developed learning according to the needs of the community, namely technology-based learning, one of which is STEAM learning. STEAM learning is a modern learning that integrates aspects in order to improve students who are the ability to think creatively, systematically, and logically. Creative thinking skills make students active in learning, able to process information easily and improve collaborative learning whose learning activities are student-centered. This is in accordance with 21st-century learning, where students are more active in the learning process and the teacher is only a facilitator. With the implementation of this learning, it is hoped that it will equip children with competencies that are appropriate for their era. This study aims to describe STEAM learning, determine the effectiveness of the application of learning, and identify increased creativity in early childhood. The method in this research is field qualitative by analyzing data from observations, interviews, and documentation during the research. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in students' creativity in learning. So it can be concluded that STEAM learning can be implemented in early childhood education to increase children's creativity.
