Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of using PowerPoint media on student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMAN 2 Pandeglang. Student learning outcomes are measured from the grades achieved in the PAI learning process. This research was carried out at SMAN 2 Pandeglang from November to December 2022 with a sample of 25 class XI MIPA 3 students. The method used is the Kemmis and McTaggart model of classroom action research, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research results showed a significant increase in student learning completeness: in cycle I, 79% of students achieved completeness with an average absorption capacity of 78.4%; in cycle II, completeness increased to 88% with an absorption capacity of 82.6%; and in cycle III, all students achieved completion with an absorption capacity of 88.6%. These results indicate a significant correlation between the use of PowerPoint media and increased student learning outcomes. Thus, the use of PowerPoint has a positive effect on PAI learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Pandeglang, showing its important role in improving student understanding and achievement.
