PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATERI IMAN KEPADA MALAIKAT ALLAH KELAS X MM C SMK NEGERI 1 KAWUNGANTEN

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of class X MM C students at SMK Negeri 1 Kawunganten in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character, with a completion rate of only 35.29%. The main cause is monotonous and less varied learning methods. To overcome this problem, researchers applied the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing PBL in improving learning outcomes regarding faith in God's angels. This research uses a classroom action method which consists of four stages: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were 17 students of class X MM C of SMK Negeri 1 Kawunganten for the 2021-2022 academic year. Data collection techniques include tests, observation and documentation. The research results show that implementing PBL improves student learning outcomes in each cycle. In cycle 1, the completion rate reached 41.17% with an average score of 70.59. In cycle 2, the completion rate increased to 88.24% with an average score of 81.76. Thus, in cycle 2, the research was declared successful because the level of completeness of learning outcomes reached more than 50%.
