Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the make a match method in improving student learning outcomes in Al-Qur'an subjects in Class IV of Sedaratu Elementary School. The research method used by researchers is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research population consisted of class IX D students with a total of 32 students. This method is implemented through two action cycles involving initial observation, learning planning, and evaluation of student learning outcomes. The results of the research showed that there was a significant increase in the average student score from cycle to cycle, with the highest score reaching 95 and learning completion reaching 100% in the second cycle. Student responses to learning using this method are also positive, which is reflected in active participation and increased daily test results. Overall, the make a match method is effective in improving students' understanding and learning outcomes in Al-Qur'an subjects at elementary school level.
