Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning achievement of Class The research subjects were 26 class X MIA-3 students. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of four stages: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research process was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings, to overcome the problem of low learning achievement and lack of student involvement in the learning process. The research results show that the use of the jigsaw method significantly increases student learning achievement. In the first cycle, the average student score was 77.58 with a completion rate of 66.67%. After implementing the second cycle, the average score increased to 81.82 with 90.91% of students reaching the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). These findings indicate that the jigsaw type cooperative learning strategy is not only effective in improving academic grades but also increases student participation and involvement in learning. Thus, applying this method can be an effective alternative for improving the quality of PAI learning at SMA Ihsaniyah Tegal.
