This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning method in an effort to improve student learning outcomes in alms material. The research method used is the classroom action research model. The data collected is analyzed at the reflection stage to evaluate the effectiveness of the method used and plan further action if necessary. The research results show that the use of the Discovery Learning model can improve student learning outcomes, especially in the Fiqh subject, Alms material. This was proven in the pre-cycle with an average score of 60, increased in cycle I with an average score of 69, then increased in Cycle II with an average score of 79. Meanwhile, the completeness of student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle was 36%, increased in the cycle I was 53%, then increased again in cycle II, namely 89%. Apart from that, the Discovery Learning model can increase teacher activity in guiding and drawing conclusions from lesson material. Meanwhile, for student activities, students can pay attention to the teacher's explanations during the learning process, students are active in asking questions and answering the teacher's questions.
