Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the picture and picture method in the learning process and to find out how the picture and picture method can improve learning outcomes in Fiqh subjects on the pillars of Islam. The research method used by the researcher was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in the IA MI Al Huda Karangpandan class with 15 students as research subjects. The research was carried out in three cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research results show that the average achievement of pre-cycle learning outcomes is 65.67. The average achievement of student learning outcomes after using the picture and picture method in cycle I was 71.67, cycle II was 77.33, and cycle III was 81.67. So it can be concluded that the picture and picture method can improve the learning outcomes of class IA students at MI Al Huda Karangpandan, Karangpandan District, Karanganyar Regency because it has achieved the completion target, namely 87% of the total number of students can achieve a score of 75.
