Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the make a match learning model can increase the learning motivation of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Kandang Panjang 02. This classroom action research uses the make a match learning model, namely by looking for the right pair of question cards and answers. This research is a PTK with 2 cycles through 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Kandang Panjang 02, North Pekalongan District, Pekalongan City with the help of 3 collaborators (Principal and Class Teacher). The subjects of this research actually consisted of 26 students in class IV, but a sample of 12 students was taken. The hypothesis proposed is that the application of the make a match learning model can increase the learning motivation of class IV students at SD Negeri Kandang Panjang 02. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that the percentage of student activity in cycle I was 86.2% and in cycle II it increased to 90.7%.
