UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENGHAFAL AL-QUR’AN PADA MATERI SURAT AL-MA’UN MELALUI METODE MAKE A MATCH DI KELAS V SD NEGERI GUNUNGTELU 01

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability to memorize Surah Al-Ma'un and its meaning in class V at SD Negeri Gunungtelu 01, semester 2 through the Make A Match method. The research method used is classroom action research with a total of 24 students as subjects. Data collection was conducted through observations, interviews, tests, and assignments, and analyzed using an interactive model. The results of the study indicate that the Make A Match method effectively enhances learning activities and students' memorization abilities. This is evidenced by the significant increase in students' learning outcomes, with the average pre-cycle score rising from 25 to 84 after the third cycle. Furthermore, the number of students achieving learning mastery increased from 0 to 19. Thus, the Make A Match method is proven to help overcome difficulties in memorizing the Qur'an and has a positive impact on the teaching and learning process.
