Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Talking Stick method in improving student achievement. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subjects of the study are ninth-grade students, selected to observe changes in their religious practices through structured and continuous interventions. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires to measure the levels of awareness and discipline in performing prayers. The results of the study show a significant increase in students' awareness and discipline after the intervention was implemented. Before the intervention, many students often delayed or skipped prayers, but after being provided with regular education and motivation, there were positive changes in their behavior. Students demonstrated a higher commitment to performing prayers on time, which also positively impacted other aspects of their lives, including discipline and responsibility. This study concludes that a structured and continuous approach is effective in enhancing students' awareness and discipline in fulfilling their religious obligations.
