PENINGKATAN KOGNITIF MELALUI KEGIATAN MEMBILANG BENDA KONKRIT PADA KELOMPOK B DI RAIT IBNU SINA KLATEN

Cognitive Improvement Through Counting Concrete Object Activities in Group B at RAIT Ibnu Sina Klaten. This research aims to determine the learning outcomes of cognitive aspects in the activity of counting 1 -20, to determine the learning process carried out by the teacher, to determine the level of student concentration in following lessons, and to find out how effective the teacher is in conveying lesson material. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects studied were students from the B1 RAIT Ibnu Sina Cawas Klaten group, totaling 19 children. Consisting of 11 male students and 4 female students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Action plan with two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II, with four stages in each cycle, namely (1) planning, (2) implementing action, (3) observing, and (40 reflection). The results of the research show that with the implementation Counting concrete objects can improve the cognitive abilities of children in group B of RAIT Ibnu Sina in the 2022/2023 academic year. The development of counting ability before being given the BSH (Developing According to Expectations) criteria was 36.84% or there were 7 children with BSB abilities ( Developing Very Well). Seeing these conditions, the researchers used the activity of counting concrete objects in the learning process. So there was a gradual increase from the first cycle with the total ability of the children reaching 78.94%, namely 15 children, then the research was carried out again in the second cycle. an increase of around 89.47% or around 17 children.
