UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KESADARAN SISWA DALAM MELAKSANAKAN SHALAT SEBAGAI BENTUK PENGAMALAN IMAN KEPADA HARI AKHIR DI SMP AMAL MULIA 2 CILEUNGSI BOGOR JAWA BARAT

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' awareness of performing prayer as an expression of their faith in the Day of Judgment at SMP Amal Mulia 2 Cileungsi Bogor. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study are ninth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The results showed that in the first cycle, 60% of students showed improvement in performing prayer, and in the second cycle, this increased to 95%. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research procedure involves problem identification, preparation, action plan formulation, action implementation, observation, and further plan formulation. This study highlights the crucial role of teachers in enhancing students' religious observance and demonstrates that a structured and continuous approach can lead to significant behavioral changes. The urgency of this research lies in the effort to shape students' religious character through continuous habituation and consistent supervision, which is expected to have a long-term positive impact on students' spiritual and social lives.
