Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Inquiry Learning teaching method in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject. The research method used was the Kurt Lewin PTK model with research subjects of 17 students and the research location at MTs Ponpes Darul Hijroh Sukoharjo. This research was carried out in two learning cycles, which included four stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interviews, documentation and tests. The conclusion of the research results shows that: 1). The application of the Inquri Learning method is said to be successful because the teacher can apply this method well. This is proven by the student learning outcomes increasing by 41.18% in cycle I with the initial condition of 3 students or 17.64% increasing to 10 students or 58.82%, learning outcomes in cycle II increasing by 41.18% with the conditions The initial 10 students or 58.82% increased to 17 students or 100% of the total number of students. Students' attitudes increased from cycle I to cycle II. Students' attitudes in the classroom when listening to the teacher's explanation in cycle I had a score of 82.34%, being active in learning activities had a score of 82.34%, daring to ask 88.24% with an average student attitude of 82.31% in cycle I. In cycle II student attitudes experienced an increase in attitudes with the average student attitude being 100% in cycle II.
