INCREASING STUDENTS' LEARNING INTEREST IN ASMAUL HUSNA MATERIAL THROUGH THE CARD SORT METHOD FOR CLASS IV STATE PRINCIPAL PULOSARI 01 BREBES

Abstract

Classroom Action Research in class IV SD Negeri Pulosari 01 Brebes is motivated by initial observations that show low student interest in learning, this condition can be seen from students who are less enthusiastic in participating in teaching and learning activities on the material of asmaul husna. Therefore, learning in class IV on the material of asmaul husna needs the application of card sort method that can increase students' interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the card sort method in the material of asmaul husna in class IV SD Negeri Pulosari 01 and to determine the increase in student interest in learning the material of asmaul husna through the card sort method in class IV SD Negeri Pulosari 01. This study used class action research (action research) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results obtained from this study are in cycle I student interest in learning has increased, the acquisition of very high student scores as many as 7 children or 37%, while the high learning interest score is 7 children or 37% and low learning interest is only 5 children or 26%. Students who have reached KKTP 12 children or 63%, while students who have not reached KKTP are 7 students or 37%. In Cycle II, students' interest in learning increased again.
