PENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA MATERI SALAT BERJAMA’AH MATA PELAJARAN FIKIH KELAS VII MTS HASYIM ASY’ARI BAWANG

Among the fiqh subject matter in Madrasah Tsanawiyah class VII, is about congregational prayer. The material is considered difficult to understand by students, as evidenced by the lack of enthusiasm of students in participating in the learning process and also student learning outcomes that are not in line with expectations. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK). According to Kemmis in Nurhafit, classroom action research is a form of meaningful / reflective and joint / collective research conducted by researchers in social life in order to improve the reasoning of social practice. Based on the results of this Classroom Action Research (PTK), it shows that the discovery learning model can be applied to the learning of congregational prayer material in the fiqh subject of seventh grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hasyim Asy'ari Bawang. With the discovery learning model the learning process takes place pleasantly, it is proven that students are more active in participating in the learning process so that it can improve student learning outcomes.
