Abstract

Pekalongan, a batik city famous for its rich culture, is now starting to feel the onslaught of global culture in the culinary sector. One example is the emergence of ayam geprek, a spicy fried chicken dish that is popular in Indonesia. As a city that has large market potential, Pekalongan is an attractive target for the fried chicken business, especially in the form of a franchise. This research aims to analyze the feasibility of the fast food fried chicken business in Pekalongan City. This analysis includes market aspects, technical aspects, management aspects and financial aspects. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and literature study. The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. Based on the results of the analysis, the fast food fried chicken business in Pekalongan City has great opportunities to develop. However, to achieve success, a mature strategy and professional business management are needed.
