Abstract

Indonesia, which has a predominantly Muslim population, should be a pioneer in developing sharia financing. Sharia banking is expected to grow significantly, but there are many challenges faced, including customers, networks, debtors, risks, prices and human resources. The limited human resources of the sharia economy is a controversy facing the sharia banking sector currently. It's not just about quantity, but also quality. Ethics is one of the most important aspects of business which is reflected in behavior. There needs to be a synergy between improving the quality of human resources and sharia banking business ethics. The strategy that needs to be implemented is cooperation between universities and Islamic banks in employee recruitment and selection, sustainable human resource development, needs-based education and training, as well as cooperation between Islamic banks and educational institutions in terms of the curriculum provided to the following students. Provide soft skills training on business ethics. Achieving the synergy of the two (improving the quality of human resources and business ethics) will increase the motivation of the Indonesian people in using sharia banking services
