THE INFLUENCE OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND WORK ETHIC ON THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN LOSARI VILLAGE

The unemployment rate is extremely high in Indonesia. This is because there aren't enough jobs available. The quality of less competent human resources is one of the causes contributing to the rising unemployment rate; it is not solely the result of a shortage of jobs. The nation's economic growth must be increased and accelerated by reducing unemployment and creating jobs. Easing commercial transactions requires the creation of a labor market.The implementation of policies in Indonesia so far has not made it easy for the private sector and the world to do business. A number of obstacles, such as lengthy licenses, high costs, and long processing times, can interfere with the creation of quality jobs. Institutional aspects are key elements that need to be improved in an effort to reduce unemployment. The condition of good organizational commitment can be influenced by a good work ethic as well. Work ethic is a stepping stone in achieving the desired organizational commitment. In the big dictionary of Indonesian, work ethic is the spirit of work that characterizes and believes a person or a group. Reducing unemployment can be done by reviving the real sector in order to create jobs, balanced by reducing efforts and improving the employment climate that benefits both workers and entrepreneurs. With this policy, economic activities will be encouraged to utilize existing human resources. The purpose of this research is to be able to find out how influential economic growth and the quality of human resources are on the unemployment rate in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative research methods with an explanatory research approach. The result of this study is that the increase in economic growth has an influence on the unemployment rate.
