QR CODE BASED LEARNING MEDIA: DIGITAL INNOVATION FOR SELF-LEARNING IN ISLAMIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS OR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires innovation in the education sector, including the provision of learning media that support independent learning. One innovation that can be implemented in Islamic Elementary Schools or Elementary Schools is QR Code-based learning media. This study aims to examine the benefits of QR Code as a learning medium capable of enhancing students' independent learning. The method used in this research is a literature study that reviews various sources regarding the application of QR Code in primary education. The findings indicate that QR Code can serve as a quick link to digital resources in the form of videos, audio, and interactive exercises accessible at any time by students. With proper and effective implementation, this medium can effectively motivate students' learning, enrich their self-directed learning abilities, and facilitate more flexible learning. The conclusion of this study is that QR Code-based learning media is an innovative solution that is suitable and relevant to support independent learning in Islamic Elementary Schools or Elementary Schools in the current digital era.
