The study entitled comparative study of elementary school students' enthusiasm in learning using digital media was conducted to determine and compare the level of enthusiasm of elementary school students Harapan Mulia and SD Anak Emas in the learning process using digital media. The background of this study is based on technological developments that need to be utilized so that it requires the use of digital media in the world of education, especially at the elementary school level. The method used is a qualitative method with a comparative approach. The research sample was taken from two well-known schools in Denpasar, Bali, namely SD Harapan Mulia and SD Anak Emas, both of which have similar characteristics. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, students at SD Harapan Mulia seemed enthusiastic when learning using digital media because at SD Harapan Mulia each student has an individual tablet that is used in learning. While at SD Anak Emas they were equally enthusiastic. Each group consisting of four students was facilitated with one laptop, so they took turns using the device to experience the digital media-based learning experience firsthand. Enthusiasm indicators measured include student interest, activeness, attention, and involvement in learning. Thus, the use of digital media has been proven to have a positive impact on increasing students' enthusiasm for learning at the elementary school/Islamic elementary school level.
