Abstract

There are many cases in the field regarding the ineffectiveness of learning in the classroom because students feel bored and difficult to understand the material. One of them is learning Natural Sciences (IPA) at the elementary school level often faces challenges in conveying abstract material concepts such as the solar system material. The existence of Augmented Reality (AR) media provides innovation by presenting interactive visualizations that can improve student understanding. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Augmented Reality media on planetary material in improving student learning outcomes. The method used is relevant previous research. The results of this study indicate that the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media can significantly improve student learning outcomes. The study results show that the utilization of AR media is able to present planetary objects in three dimensions, making students more interested and motivated in participating in learning. In addition, AR media also makes it easier for teachers to explain abstract concepts to be moreconcrete and easy for students to understand. With increased student interest and involvement, learning outcomes also show a significant increase. Therefore, the use of Augmented Reality media can be an alternative solution for learning science that is more interesting, effective, and innovative, especially in the delivery of planetary material in elementary schools.
