Strategi Guru Dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Media Pada Pembelajaran IPAS Kelas VI Di MI Islamiyah Galang Pengampon

Abstract

Media Literacy is one of the 21st century skills that students must have to face digital challenges. However, The media literacy competency at MI Islamiyah Galang Pengampon remains comparatively poor due to restricted technology access, insufficient diversity in learning media, and inadequate teacher proficiency in the efficient use of digital media. This study aimed to identify the tactics employed by teachers to enhance media literacy via scientific education for sixth-grade students and to assess the assistance provided during this process. The study included a qualitative methodology and data collection approaches, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The study's findings indicated that instructional tactics employed by teachers, such as the utilization of educational films, group discussions, the use of LKPD and educational games using digital media showed a good increase in student understanding of science learning. However, this certainly requires support from various parties ranging from the principal to subject teachers.
