Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the field of education. One of the emerging innovations is the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the learning process. At the elementary school level, the use of AI presents a strategic opportunity to enhance the quality of education in a more adaptive, efficient, and personalized manner. This study aims to examine the benefits of implementing AI technology in supporting students' learning processes in elementary schools. The use of AI in education is regarded as a technological innovation that can assist teachers in delivering material, providing automated feedback, and tailoring instruction to meet individual student needs.

The research method used is a literature review with a descriptive approach, analyzing various scholarly sources related to the use of AI in elementary education settings. The findings show that AI plays a crucial role in personalized learning, increasing student motivation, and developing critical thinking skills. Furthermore, AI enables the learning process to be more interactive and responsive. The implementation of AI aligns with the principles of educational technology, which emphasize the systematic use of scientific knowledge to solve practical tasks in teaching and learning activities. These findings highlight the importance of teacher readiness, adaptive curricula, and supportive infrastructure as key foundations for effectively integrating AI in elementary schools.
