Abstract

Digital technology is now an important part of everyday life, including in the world of education. In the era of globalization, current technological developments require students to be able to adapt in order to take advantage of the various conveniences offered. For example, students can take advantage of the ease of accessing various valid information and learning resources so that they can improve their learning abilities. This change encourages the need for learning materials that are in accordance with the times such as e-books. E-books can be an effective way to improve digital literacy culture in educational environments. With its various advantages and attractions, e-books are expected to be able to foster students' interest in reading, so that the literacy skills of the Indonesian people will also increase. This study aims to describe the use of e-books in improving students' digital literacy at the elementary school level. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach. Data sources were collected through analysis results from various journals, articles and books that are in accordance with the research topic. The results of the study show that the use of e-books can make a positive contribution to improving the digital literacy of elementary school students through easy access to relevant information and learning resources.
