EDTECH SEBAGAI MEDIA INOVATIF UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN KRITIS DAN KOLABORATIF DI PENDIDIKAN DASAR

Abstract

This study theoretically analyzes digital media innovation in elementary education, specifically in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and primary schools, to support the development of students’ critical thinking and collaborative skills. Through a review of recent literature, it was found that digital media such as educational game applications, online learning platforms, and interactive visual media effectively enhance student motivation, engagement, analytical abilities, and teamwork. Digital media acts as a catalyst for active learning aligned with constructivist and social- constructivist theories. However, the implementation of these technologies faces significant challenges, including limited infrastructure, low digital literacy among teachers, and socio-cultural factors that hinder optimal use of digital media. This study recommends improving teacher training, equalizing technology access, and raising community awareness as strategies to overcome these obstacles. The findings provide a crucial conceptual foundation for developing more effective, adaptive, and inclusive technology-based learning models in Indonesia’s elementary education.
