Peran Strategi Metakognitif dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika pada Siswa

This journal aims to identify and explore the role of metacognitive strategies in improving students' mathematical problem solving skills. The method used is the literature method by collecting various journal articles and books related to the role of metacognitive strategies in improving students' mathematical problem solving skills. The results of the study found that metacognitive strategies can help students develop critical and analytical thinking skills, self-control, and increase self-confidence in solving mathematical problems. This is because this strategy helps students to develop self-awareness about the way they understand and process information in mathematics. In addition, metacognitive strategies can also help students understand math problems better, identify types of problems, and choose the right strategy to solve problems.
