Pengaruh Pembelajaran Berbasis HOTS Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis

This study aims to provide a literature review on the application of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in mathematics learning. HOTS refers to high-level thinking skills that include analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and creativity. The application of HOTS in mathematics learning aims to develop students’ more complex and critical thinking skills. The results of the literature review show that HOTS-based mathematics learning can improve students’ critical and creative thinking skills and prepare them to face challenges in everyday life. Several learning strategies that can be used in the application of HOTS include inquiry-based approaches, problem-based learning models, and project-based learning models. In addition, it is important to actively involve students in the learning process, both in groups and individually. In conclusion, it can be inferred that the application of HOTS in mathematics learning has be potential to significantly improve stidents’ thingking skills.
