Pengembangan LKS Berbasis Etnomatematika Budaya Jawa Tengah untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Materi Aritmetika Sosial

Abstract

Problem solving ability is one of several mathematical abilities that students must master. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate teaching materials for students. One of the teaching materials used by students is LKS. Thus, the researcher innovated by developing LKS based on the ethnomathematics of Central Java culture to improve problem solving skills in social arithmetic material for class VII SMP. The objectives of this study are: 1) To analyze the development of LKS based on Central Javanese cultural ethnomathematics in social arithmetic material to improve problem solving skills 2) To analyze the level of validity and practicality of LKS based on Central Javanese ethnomathematics in social arithmetic material to improve problem solving skills. 3) To analyze the effectiveness of the Central Java ethnomathematics-based worksheets in social arithmetic material to improve problem solving skills. This type of research is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and pre-test and post-test. Data analysis using validation test to material experts and media experts. Then whether or not the LKS is effective is seen from the ' post-test and N-Gain scores to determine how much the increase in problem solving abilities is. The results of LKS development go through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The material results show a score of 93.34%" and a score of 96.67% in the "very valid" category and a score of 88.34% in the "valid" category. Then, for the media it shows a score of 85% and 86.67% in the "valid" category, a score of 100% in the "very valid" category. LKS is included in the very practical category with a score of 93.34%. The average value post-test of 78.79 and an increase of 0.57 measured by the N-Gain score of the medium category.
