Abstract

Teaching objectives in the teaching and learning process are an important component. The objectives to be achieved in the process include aspects of cognitive, effective, psychomotor and interactive abilities. To achieve the desired goals in a teaching and learning process effectively and efficiently, a teacher will usually choose methods and media that are reasonably thought to be appropriate to convey a topic being discussed. The Power of Two and Four method is a strategy that familiarizes active learning individually and group learning together the results are more memorable. In a religious perspective, it is also recommended to cooperate in terms of goodness. Professional and competent mathematics teachers have basic insights that can be used in planning and implementing mathematics learning. The insights are in the form of basic learning theories that can be applied to the development and improvement of mathematics learning, including Jean Piaget Theory, Vygotsky Theory, and George Polya Theory (problem solving). This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through The Power Of Two And Four method of Mathematics subject Measurement material on Class II Students at MI Muhammadiyah Kebutuh Bukateja Purbalingga District in 2023. This study uses a class action research method, with the aim of knowing the indicators of learning achievement in students. PTK is an effort to solve problems, as well as to find scientific support. Classroom action research is a problem-solving strategy that utilizes real action and the process of developing the ability to detect and solve problems. Mathematics learning outcomes in grade II students at MI Muhammmadiyah Kebutuh Bukateja District, Purbalingga Regency increased from each cycle. The results of observations of teacher performance in the learning process improved.
