Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of students' learning activities and outcomes through the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model on the material of Q.S. An-Nisa: 59 and Q.S. Al-Maidah: 48 class XI MIPA 2 SMAN 1 Warureja in the 2022/2023 academic year. The formulation of the problems in this study are: How is the application of the Problem Based Learning model to improve the activities and learning outcomes of students on the material Q.S. An-Nisa: 59 and Q.S. Al-Maidah: 48 in Class XI MIPA 2 SMAN 1 Warureja. This research is a class action research using qualitative methods. Data were collected through observation and tests, the object of this research was students of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Warureja which amounted to 30 students. This research was carried out in three stages, namely the Pre-Cycle stage, cycle I, and cycle II. In the Pre-cycle stage, the results of the observation of students' activities had a percentage of classical completeness of 47.2% with an average class score of 74, and in cycle I experienced an increase, namely with the learning outcomes of students, the average final test increased to 80 with a percentage of classical completeness of 78%. After a reflection on the implementation of the action, in cycle II the average final test score of students also experienced a very significant increase of 84.5 with a percentage of classical completeness of 100%. Thus the results of research conducted by researchers prove that there is an increase in the activity and learning outcomes of students on the material Q.S. An-Nisa: 59 and Q.S. AlMaidah: 48 through the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model
