PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS MELALUI METODE STORYTELLING PADA ANAK KELOMPOK B DI RA MIFTAHUL HUDA TLOGOMOJO

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out 1) To find out children's writing skills before using the storytelling method at RA Miftahul HUda 2) To find out the implementation of the storytelling method in improve writing skills at RA Miftahul Huda 3) To find out children's writing skills after using the storytelling method at RA Miftahul Huda. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects in the 5-6 year age group consisting of 10 children. The object of this research is improving children's writing skills. Data collection techniques through observation in the form of checklists and documentation in the form of photos. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results obtained during 1) Pre-action were 0% or with an average of 2, this shows that children's writing skills are very low and have not yet developed, 2) The implementation of the storytelling method to improve children's writing skills was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. In cycle I the author just tells a story according to the theme without using story books or media. However, in cycle II the author tells stories using story books and interesting media according to themes that can improve children's writing skills. 3) There was an increase after using the storytelling method, namely from 0% to a classical increase of 80%, this shows that from the research carried out has achieved increased success classically.
