Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics in class V of SD Negeri Kuripan Lor 01. This was caused by the low level of student curiosity regarding the subject of Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics, students were reluctant to ask questions, and also less active in the learning process. The use of conventional learning methods makes students less interested and less enthusiastic in participating in learning, thus having an impact on student learning outcomes. Teachers occupy an important position and determine the success or failure of achieving goals in a learning process. Choosing the right learning method is something that teachers need to pay attention to. To overcome this problem, researchers conducted classroom action research (PTK) by applying the Talking Stick learning method. This research aims to find out whether the use of the Team Quiz Learning Method can improve student learning outcomes in Zakat material for Class V at SD Negeri Kuripan Lor 01 for the 2021-2022 academic year. This research was conducted through Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were Class V of SDN Kuripan Lor 01 for the 2021-2021 academic year, consisting of 20 students. Next, technique. The data collection procedures in this research are through student learning outcomes tests, student activity observation sheets. Meanwhile, the author's data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis (percentage). This research uses classroom action research which lasts for two cycles. The research results show that the Team Quiz method can improve student learning outcomes on the "zakat" material. This can be seen in cycle I, student learning outcomes were 65%, in cycle II student learning outcomes were 75% while student learning outcomes in cycle III increased by 90%. Thus, it can be concluded that student learning outcomes using the Team Quiz method have increased. Apart from that, this method also increases students' activeness and enthusiasm in the learning process in class. Therefore, the application of the Team Quiz learning model in Islamic religious education learning and welcoming material character can improve student learning outcomes.
