Teaching English via video conference is increasingly becoming the main alternative in education in
the era of globalization and the COVID-19 pandemic. This research proposes the implementation of
video conferencing as a method of learning English in remote or suburban communities with the aim
of increasing the accessibility of quality education. The Classroom Action Research method was used
with research locations in Village A, Village B, and City C which had limited access to English
language training. The research participants were 50 people with diverse English language
backgrounds, following three cycles: planning and training facilitators, implementing learning
sessions via video conference, and evaluation using written tests, oral tests, class observations, and
participant satisfaction questionnaires. The results showed significant improvements in participants'
English language skills, including grammar understanding, vocabulary use, and speaking confidence.
Participant satisfaction with the program was high, with participants feeling connected to the outside
world through extended interactions with facilitators and other participants. Despite facing technical
challenges such as unstable internet network quality, this program is successful with proper technical
support.
